Hello, my name is Clare. I am 20 years old, I am in my third year of college in September studying Radio Production. YES! Radio Production. Every time I meet people and they ask me what I am studying, I reply with the above course, and they look.... dazzled? I get responses like, "Oh you mean Radiology?" or "Oh.... that's....interesting?"
So let me first clarify a few things.
1. Yes, Radio Production is a REAL course.
2. Yes, I can get a REAL job in the future with this HND/degree.
3. Yes, it involves A LOT of studying and research and assignments :-)
So all in all, I love it and I wouldn't change a thing. I am currently doing a HND (Higher National Diploma) in Media Production (Radio) and hope to go on to do the one year degree! The course is very interesting and I'm learning things I never thought I would have, eg. Media Law, Marketing & Market Research, Politics, Station Management, Engineering..... the list goes on.
Right now I am living at home with the parents and travel to college by car each day. It's not so bad as it doesn't take me too long to get there (on a good day)! I have great friends in and out of college and a great boyfriend who makes me very happy :) My family also mean the world to me and I would not ever regret anything I have done in my life.
I wanted to start up a blog on something I was really interested in, I thought of a few topics/options I could do, so why not do a bit of everything?
